Terms and conditions and cancellation policy

Any children under 18 years of age must have a responsible guardian (either a parent or someone designated by the parent) supervising them at all times during the entire duration of the Pilgrimage.

All adult pilgrims 18 and over are responsible for their own safety during the pilgrimage. Also for their own property and equipment for the duration of this pilgrimage.

Pilgrims are responsible for their own transport to and from the pick up point in Kerikeri and for the safety of their vehicles.

Footsteps of Pompallier Pilgrimage (FOPP) retains the right to exclude any pilgrim we deem to be acting in a way that may be putting themselves, volunteers or other pilgrim's safety at risk during this pilgrimage. In this case no refund will be given for the registration fee.

While we have a detailed and planned itinerary for this event advertised FOPP retain the right to change any event, venue or other details of the pilgrimage itinerary and schedule at any time, at our discretion, due to this being a live event held outside.

Any cancellation of your confirmed registration must be in writing using the contact form on this website (or by replying to the official FOPP email address on your confirmation email) before the 31st August 2026, to obtain a refund of your registration fee. We are unable to refund registration fees from 1 September 2026 (after this date, all funds would have been committed to pilgrimage operating costs).

You can transfer a place to another pilgrim at any time up to 7 days prior to the beginning of the pilgrimage by using this form to register the new pilgrim transfer and your details.

In the event that we cancel the pilgrimage we will give you the option for a refund of your fee or transfer of your place to the next event.

We will do our best to accommodate dietary requirements of pilgrims but cannot guarantee that food provided will be free from allergens due to the use of venue kitchens and equipment for preparation of all food.

Photographs and video of the pilgrimage will be taken throughout the event and these will be used by FOPP in our marketing material. If you do not wish to be recorded on these types of media please let us know in the message field below so that we can make sure you are omitted.
