Training Walks
To help you prepare and be pilgrimage ready
Every time we organise this pilgrimage we run a 15 week training program around the Auckland region in the run up to the walk, to help pilgrims to be pilgrimage ready physically.
Slowly increasing the distance each time these walks are on a different route each time covering different types of terrain, and run roughly every two weeks. Meeting at St Annes Chapel, 3 Cole Place, Te Atutu South, Auckland after 8am mass.
If you are unable to make it to walk with us in Auckland you can download the 15 Week Preparation Guide.
In this guide you will find strength guide, training guide and suggestions for spiritual preparation as well as lists of what to bring and pack.
